Scenery and surrounds

In the surrounding countryside you can see many charming villages and farms, some of them tumbledown - testimony of the past rural civilization. But at the same time they are reviving, transmitting and creating moments of happiness and simple emotions, which all of us desire and you feel again that the world is finally yours, this is what you will get in an agriturismo in Tuscany.

About 1.5 kilometres from our house, there is the small medieval village of Montelopio, accessible by a country road which winds in perfect harmony with the scenery, between the vineyards and olive groves, allowing you to experience the marvels of this place.

Our area is very well served by countless typical restaurants; amongst these, I can make mention of one in particular (Ristorante Serravalle) which is easily accessible on foot, and where Paolo (owner and passionate cook) will make you taste typical Tuscan cuisine with his truly exclusive dishes, and will suggest to you which of the excellent, local wines to accompany your meal, all expertly produced by his own company.

For those who would like to come into direct contact with nature, there are stunning nature walks for trekking, mountain bike riding (bikes can be hired through the company) and, for the most sport loving of you who want to rediscover the spirit of adventure, about 6 kilometres from the Agriturismo (at the equestrian centre, Il Fregione) there is the infrastructure available for horse riding along the enchanting paths of our hills. For those who would like to indulge in the care of their own bodies, 12 kilometres from our company there is the exclusive thermal centre of Casciana Terme, where it is possible to benefit from the full range (thermal cures, well-being centre, cosmetic line etc).
Upon request, it is possible to have guided tours to the most beautiful cities of art, or for a very particular experience, aerial trips.
